After twenty years of planning (mostly Bruce) and months of preparation (Bruce and Esther), we had said all of our goodbye's and cried all we could (mostly Esther),and we were finally ready to set sail! Unfortunately, the weather Gods were not with us and we are still stuck at the dock! We have always said that we are going to enjoy the journey and wait for a destination so we shouldn't be too surprised when our plans have changed on the very first day!

The time has come the walrus said
The way the wind was blowing today on the golf course I would have expected you to be halfway to Kingston. Hope tomorrow gets you better results. thanks for the weekend we enjoyed. I finally got B/A to stay at home and do some house work, of course I was kind and went and golfed so that I wasn't under foot.

I think you missed summer - hope you have your woolies for tonight! Did you forget something at home - you'd be warm and could crash Lindsay's first party!;-)

Is George Carlin your weather man?
He loves irony, he also said: Weather forecast for tonight: dark. Continued dark overnight, with widely scattered light by morning.
Enjoy
Did the filming of the Degrassi wedding have anything to do with it? Should we expect cameo appearances?

We were thinking about you guys all day and quietly hoping you would wait for a nicer day to begin your adventure. You're right, it's all about the journey. This blog is a great idea, well done. Can't wait to join you two.

I'm jealous!!... or is it envious?? ... of your great decision to go, on the right day.

Hey Bruce and Esther. We thought we would give you a 5 day head start before we go for an afternoon cruise to pay you a visit...
Cheers, Bruce and Lila.
Hi Esther and Bruce !!!!!!!!!
Glad to see you are on your way.
It's hard to believe that this time has finally come. What an exciting new chapter in your lives.
I will anxiously look forward to reading all about it and seeing pictures on your blog.
Wishing you clear skies and smooth sailing.
LET THE ADVENTURE(S) BEGIN !!!!!!!
Cheers !!!!!!!!! Nancy :-)
I guess Bruce doesn't have a Ports Book, as it says on page 187,
"Amherst Bay should not be used in south to west blows, however, from which it offers no protection".
Theres a Xmas idea!
Enjoy the trip
